Amazing Speed Test Results for 4G LTE 700 booster!
We recently conducted speed tests to determine how much the 4G LTE 700 (801865) can improve data transfer speeds. To test, we in a 4G LTE market using house with a metal roof. The Verizon LTE signal reading outside the house was -69 dB, a strong signal. But the roof blocked the signal, and the Samsung Droid Charge 4G phone used for testing could not get an LTE signal in many locations inside the house.
We installed the booster along with with a (301202) outside antenna and a (301121) inside dome antenna using Wilson LMR400 cable. With the booster powered off, they then took baseline data speed readings at three locations in the house using SpeedTest.com.
In two of the locations, the Charge 4G device could only pick up a default 3G signal - but no LTE. In the one location where LTE signal was detected, data speeds were still no faster than 3G. The testers then powered on the 4G LTE 700 and repeated the tests at each location.
For Location 1, download speed with the booster jumped from the previous reading of 1.8 Mbps up to 17.1 Mbps, or 850 percent faster! Uploads also were faster, going from 0.99 Mbps without the booster to 5.9 Mbps, a 495 percent increase. Results in both other locations were similar. Uploads were faster by 2,338 percent and 1,415 percent respectively, and downloads were sped up 688 percent and 1,016 percent!
Inside the house, testers saw a high download speed of 19.1 Mbps with the (801865) system, and a high upload rate of 7.1 Mbps. Simply put: "The 4G LTE 700 works great!"
